Club Information

Roundwood is a silver CAPS accredited club that provides a high level of commitment to development and good, safe practice.  All players, coaches and umpires of Roundwood are offered a clear development pathway by the club's high profile and publicity. We all take great pride in the work that goes into the club and are proud of the club that we have today.

All of our coaches are very experienced in working with young people.  Our coaches have attended various courses including England Netball Safeguarding and Protecting Young Children, Equity in your Coaching and A Club for All.  We have four qualified level 2 coaches and three level 1 assistant coaches who form part of our coaching team.  We also have qualified first aiders at all coaching sessions.

Training

Roundwood Netball Club train on Thursday evenings at Croydon High School, Old Farleigh Road, Croydon, CR2 8YB

Juniors aged 8+ - The juniors section train all year round (apart from 2 weeks off for christmas) at Croydon High School.  Training is between 6-7pm in the sports hall during the winter months and on the courts outside during the summer months.

Development Squad - The development squad train all year round (apart from 2 weeks off for christmas) at Croydon High School.  Training is between 7-8pm in the sports hall during the winter months and on the courts outside during the summer months.

Adults - The adults section train between August and May and play in a summer league starting beginning of June for 8 weeks. Training is between 8-9.30pm in the sports hall at Croydon High School.

Matches

Junior matches are played once a month, mostly on a training night. Please see the fixtures and results page for dates, times and venues.

Adult matches (A's, B's, C's, D's and E's) play in matches every Saturday, mainly held at Shirley High School, Shirley Church Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 5EF.  Please click on the map for bigger picture.  A few matches are played at various other venues, mostly within the local area but some are a little further afield. Please see the fixtures and results page for dates, times and venues.

Fees

Junior section - £12 monthly compulsory standing order.  This includes training sessions, matches and a mini tournament at the end of the year.  Affiliation will also be paid for in September if your daughter has been on standing order for more than 6 months prior to the affiliation date. New members to pay affiliation on joining the club. More details regarding affiliation can be found below.

Development squad - £15 monthly compulsory standing order.  This includes training sessions, matches and a mini tournament at the end of the year.  Affiliation will also be paid for in September if your daughter has been on standing order for more than 6 months prior to the affiliation date. Adults - £25 monthly compulsory standing order, which covers affiliation cost if you have been on standing order for more than 6 months prior to the affiliation date. New members to pay affiliation on joining the club. More details regarding affiliation can be found below.

Affiliation

All players joining Roundwood must affiliate to England Netball, these prices change yearly.  All new members need to pay this as soon as you join Roundwood. Existing members on standing order for more than 6 months prior to the affiliation date, will have this cost covered by their August fees. Kit

Our team kit consists of either a purple dress or purple skirt/top combo and a grey or purple hooded jumper.  Kit is an additional cost to the monthly fees and can be purchased through the kit secretary.  For full details on kit and the ordering process, please go to the kit ordering page
